Saints in Search of Perfect Homestand Friday Night

Siena Looks to Complete Sweep of Season-Long Four-Game Homestand

ALBANY, NY - Siena Basketball looks to complete a perfect 4-0 homestand when the Saints host Rider Friday night at 7 p.m. at MVP Arena.

Tickets start as low as just $10 for adults (service fees apply if purchasing through Ticketmaster), and can be secured by clicking the corresponding link, in-person at the MVP Arena Box Office (opens at 10 a.m.), or by contacting Ticketmaster by phone at (800) 745-3000.

The Siena Basketball MVP Arena Spectator Policy, which was last updated on Jan. 7, remains in effect. All attendees - regardless of vaccination status - are required to wear a mask at all times inside MVP Arena, except when actively eating or drinking. The updated policy, which complies with New York State's mask mandate issued in December - which was adopted by Albany County and recently extended through Feb. 10 - also continues to require fully vaccinated guests to provide proof of vaccination, and partially vaccinated or unvaccinated fans to provide proof of a negative test upon entry. Siena (9-8, 6-3) is in search of its second separate four-game winning streak this season, while also capping its season-long four-game, seven-day homestand on a high note. The Saints are off to a 3-1 start thus far to their grueling six-game, 12-day stretch.

Rider (7-13, 3-7) enters play having won two of three following a four-game losing streak. The Broncs have been outscored by an average of 6.7 points in the first half of conference contests, but have outscored their league foes by a 1.9 margin in second halves.

Siena has doubled up Rider to the tune of a 36-18 advantage in the all-time series. The Saints have won nine of the past 12 meetings overall, and six straight in Albany.

Kelly O'Donnell and Conner Fenlon '12 have the call of the action locally on My4 Albany, which is televised in the Capital Region over the air on Channel 51, and is available to Spectrum subscribers on Channel 4.
