ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA – Siena Men's Golf wrapped action at the Sea Palms Invitational Saturday with the final round of the 54-hole tournament in St. Simons Island, Georgia. The Saints placed 15
th out of 19 teams, carding a weekend-best round of +14, 298 in the final round to record a 54-hole score of +52, 904 (303-303-298).
Junior
Matthew Ferrari rounded out a team-leading finish with a round of +5, 76 to finish tied for 24
th individually on the weekend at 221. Junior
Jack Tobin recorded a team-best round of 73 in the third round to finish at 227 in a tie for 51
st.
Senior
Brody Yates and Freshman
Dan Brooks tied for 64
th at 229, with Yates going +4, 75 and Brooks carding +5, 76 in the final round on the par 71, 6,664-yard course. Brooks recorded the team's only eagle of the tournament, doing so on the par-5 fourth hole. Junior
Nolan Crowley recorded his best round of the weekend with +3, 74 to finish at 237 to place 90
th.
Siena will take three weeks off from competition before returning to Spring action at The Battle at Rum Pointe hosted by Iona on March 26-27.
