LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Women's Basketball fifth-year Selena Philoxy has signed an international contract with the Keilor Thunder in the National Basketball League in Melbourne, Australia. Philoxy makes her debut for the Thunder on Saturday, June 4.
 
Philoxy appeared in 25 games for the Saints, making 24 starts after earning her eligibility ahead of Siena's home opener against Duquesne on Nov. 26. She averaged 10.0 points and 8.3 rebounds per game over 28.1 minutes per game. She collected six double-doubles on the season, including a 21-point, 19-rebound effort in the Saints' season finale at Monmouth on Mar. 5. She ranked fifth among all players in the MAAC in rebounding, and sixth in steals at 2.0 per game.
 
The Saints closed out the 2021-22 season with an 10-19 record, with a 10-10 mark in the regular season in MAAC play. The 10 conference wins are the most since the Saints won 11 in 2018-19. The Green and Gold outperformed preseason expectations, finishing fifth in the MAAC after being selected ninth in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
