Box Score 2 HANOVER, NH – After a strong fall campaign to begin the 2022-23 season, Siena Men's Tennis found the win column in its first action of the 2023 calendar year. The Saints (2-1) took a 4-1 win over Binghamton before falling in a 4-0 decision to host Dartmouth at the Boss Tennis Center in Hanover, New Hampshire.
"The guys came together to play today with only two weeks of practice under their belts, and worked hard on all courts," head coach Jeff Osborn said. "This was a great start to the season."
The Saints claimed the doubles point and took home three of four qualifying singles matches in the battle with the Bearcats, with Agustin Suarez & Matt Nardone capturing a 7-5 doubles #1 win, and Jose Pablo Davila teaming up with Tomas del Olmo for a 7-5 doubles #3 triumph.

The Big Green finished the day with a sweep of the visitors, winning all three doubles matchups and each of the first four singles pairings in straight sets.
"It's tough to play a doubleheader in the first weekend back, but I'm proud of the effort the guys put out today," Osborn continued. We will recover and be ready for next weekend."
Siena's second weekend of spring action will feature the team at Brown on Saturday, January 28 at 3 PM before returning home to host LIU at Tri-City Fitness in Latham, New York on Sunday, January 29 at 1:45 PM.
