Following a grueling stretch where they played nine of 11 away from home, Siena (9-5, 3-0) now returns to the friendly confines of MVP Arena for five of its next seven games. The Saints went an impressive 7-4 during their tough stretch – capped by a sweep of their season-long three-game road trip – and now look to carry over that momentum as the schedule flips in their favor. The Saints' four-game winning streak matches the longest since the program record-tying 16-game win streak bridging 2020-21.
Â
Despite being gutted following its historical 2021-22 season, Saint Peter's (7-7, 2-3) enters play at an even .500 under the direction of new head coach Bashir Mason. However, the Peacocks are just 1-6 away from Run Baby Run Arena, where they've been outscored by an average of 19.2 points in those defeats.
Â
Siena and Saint Peter's meet for the 99
th time, with the Peacocks holding a 52-46 all-time edge. However, the Saints have won three straight highlighted by their first regular season series sweep of the Peacocks in 12 years last winter. Siena handed Saint Peter's their final loss – a decisive 84-70 decision on Feb. 20 at MVP Arena – before the Peacocks reeled off 10 straight wins on their way to a magical Elite Eight appearance.
