STONY BROOK, NY –Siena Swimming & Diving was in regular season action for the third straight week on Saturday to continue its Fall 2023 slate. The Saints dropped a 177-123 decision at Stony Brook on Long Island in their final dual meet action before the mid-season championship meet.
The Seawolves collected their fourth straight win in the series by claiming the first six and 13 total events on the day.
Reigning MAAC Swimmer of the Week
Rory Kalac earned the team's first win of the day with a time of 24.36 in the 50 free, while freshman
Natalie Blume followed in second with a time of 25.27. Kalac also turned in a second place finish in the 100 free with a time of 53.54.
Senior
Audrey Shultz claimed the top spot in the 200 breast with a time of 2:26.99, and also went for second on the day in the 1,000 free (10:52.85) and third in the 100 breast (1:08.28).

Mea Amedio, and Kalac ended the meet with a first place finish in the 200 free relay via a time of 1:39.33. Amedio also brought home a second place individual finish in the 200 IM with a time of 2:13.25.
Two-time reigning MAAC Diver of the Week
Talia Spenziero placed second in the 3-meter diving event with a score of 262.65 and third in one-meter diving with 258.25, marking the second straight meet the Clifton Park, New York product has gone over 250 in both events.
The fall leg of Siena's 2023-24 season will conclude at the ECAC Winter Championships December 1-3 in East Meadow, New York.
