LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Athletics announced the hiring of Kyle DeBlasiis as the department's Marketing Coordinator on Tuesday. The newly-created position functions in-conjunction with Siena's partnership with Van Wagner and General Manager Lynne Young. DeBlasiis will oversee the department's marketing efforts with Siena Basketball and other events.

"We are thrilled to have Kyle join our team for this pivotal role in athletics," Young said.  "His experience and knowledge will enable him to really hit the ground running. He was highly recommended, and we couldn't be more excited for him to bring his energy and enthusiasm to our department."

DeBlasiis comes to Loudonville after serving on the Special Events Staff for the New York Racing Association during the summer 2023 season, where he oversaw vendors at the Taste NY Pavilion and assisted NYRA's external marketing agency.

While attending Springfield College, DeBlasiis interned at the Harris County – Houston Sports Authority in Houston, Texas, assisting in marketing efforts for the NCAA Men's final Four among other events. His marketing experience also includes supervising the 2022 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Spalding Hoophall Classic and volunteering at the 2023 LPGA Chevron Championship, the 2023 & 2021 NCAA Men's Lacrosse National Championships, and the 2020 Spalding Hoophall Classic.

DeBlasiis earned his B.S. in Sport Management from Springfield in 2023, where he was a Resident Assistant and President of the Sport Management Club.
