Siena (15-8, 9-3) enters play now tied with Rider for first place atop the MAAC Standings. The Saints are looking to bounce back after splitting their past six games following a season-long seven-game win streak. Siena has shot just 39.7% from the field spanning those past six contests.

This afternoon's contest marks the milestone 100th career game for head coach Carmen Maciariello at his alma mater. He has achieved a stellar 62-37 (.626) overall record through his first 99 games coached, while leading the Saints to three straight winning seasons. Maciariello has piloted Siena to at least a share of a pair of MAAC Regular Season Championships over his first three seasons at the helm, punctuated by the awarding of the outright MAAC Tournament Championship in his first year.

Niagara (12-9, 7-5) meanwhile has won three straight, highlighted by a 76-73 primetime victory in the Battle of the Bridge vs. Canisius Friday night. The Saints are a perfect 4-0 so far against the teams currently occupying the top-five spots in the MAAC Standings. The Purple Eagles enter play in fifth place.

Siena leads the all-time series 58-50, including a 14-5 mark over the previous 19 contests. The Saints are in search of their first regular season sweep of Niagara in four years, following a 70-64 victory in the first meeting between the squads on Jan. 13 on Monteagle Ridge. Javian McCollum tied his career-highs with 27 points and eight assists in that win. Siena has captured 16 of the past 18 matchups against the Purple Eagles in Albany, winning by an average margin of 10.9 points.

Robert Lee and Kelly O'Donnell have the call of the game on ESPN+ - which can be viewed by clicking the corresponding link – and which will be simulcast locally in the Capital Region on My4 Albany. Each of Siena's remaining home games will be televised on My4 Albany, which is available locally over the air on Channel 51, and is also available to Spectrum subscribers in the Capital Region on Channel 4.
