ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA – Siena Men's Golf continued early weekend action with round two of the 54-hole Sea Palms Invitational in St. Simons Island, Georgia on Friday.
Through 36 holes of play, the Saints sit tied for 14th in the 20-team field, with a round of +8, 292 shot during day two.
Graduate student Brody Yates remains the top Saint in the team's five-man group after shooting +1, 72 to end the day in a split for 27th with 141. Senior Nolan Crowley carded the low round of the day -1, 70 to end in a split for 47th with 144. Freshman Austin Giroux (+3, 74) and sophomore Dan Brooks (+3, 74) ended the day in a split for 78th, while senior Matthew Ferrari rounded out the Saints' five-man competition team with a round of +5, 76 to end in a tie for 89th with 151.
Competing as an individual, sophomore Nick Lyons shot a round of +9, 80 and holds a 36-hole score of 156 in a tie for 108th.
Siena concludes the Sea Palms Invitational with one final round on Saturday, March 10.
