BERLIN, MD – Siena Men's Golf tied for the fifth-lowest 36-hole score in program history to wrap weekend action at The Battle at Rum Pointe in Berlin, Maryland on Sunday.
The Saints tied with Harvard for fifth place out of the 17-team field with a two-round score of 581 (289-292) at the Rum Pointe Seaside Links.
Freshman
Austin Giroux (68-74) followed an impressive start to the weekend by tying for tenth place individually with a 36-hole score of 142. Senior
Nolan Crowley (74-70) split for 14
th at 144, while classmate
Matthew Ferrari (73-72) placed 19
th with 145. Sophomore
Dan Brooks (75-76) and graduate student
Brody Yates (74-77) both tied for 47
th at 151.
Competing as an individual, junior
Alex Kelley (81-87) shot 168 to finish in 99
th.
Siena will continue spring action on Saturday, April 15 at the Roar-EE Invitational hosted by Columbia in Kingston, New York.
