ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA – Siena Men's Golf kicked off its second outing of the Spring 2023 season at the Sea Palms Invitational in St. Simons Island, Georgia on Thursday.

Through 18 holes of play, the Saints sit tied for 11^th in the large 20-team field after carding a solid round of +3, 287.

Graduate student Brody Yates leads Siena's five-man team after going -2, 69 with three birdies to tie for 21^st individually. Freshman Austin Giroux also went under-part with a round of -1, 70 that included four birdies to split for 31^st.

Sophomore Dan Brooks and senior Nolan Crowley shot +3, 74 to tie for 76^th, while senior Matthew Ferrari went for +4, 75 to knot for 85^th.

Competing as an individual, sophomore Nick Lyons carded a round of +6, 75 to tie for 94^th.

Siena will be back in action with round two of play on Friday, March 10.
