LEXINGTON, VA – Siena Water Polo wrapped weekend conference action at the Clark King Pool in Lexington, Virginia on the campus of Virginia Military Institute with a 21-11 loss to #17 Wagner on Sunday morning.
With the conference rivals facing off for the only time this season, the Seahawks netted seven of nine goals in the first half and overcame six Siena scores in the fourth quarter to win. The Saints put up double-digit points against a ranked opponent for the second time this season.
Senior
Grace Boeve recorded a hat trick for the Green and Gold, while freshmen
Finn Magill and
Samantha Varrie also recorded multi-goal games. Senior
Lily Graham, sophomore
Cece White, and freshman
Bianca Kennerley also scored, while senior goalkeeper
Anna Mossakowski made seven saves in-goal.
Siena will continue conference action against Villanova and VMI next weekend in Villanova, Pennsylvania.
