CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Siena Outdoor Track's
Olivia Lomascolo was at it again with her record-breaking ways Friday evening in the Mid-Atlantic. The fifth-year senior broke her own school record as the Saints sent runners to compete in the Virginia Challenge at Lanigan Field in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Lomascolo turned in a time of 16:22.73 in the women's 5,000 to smash her previous mark of 16:34.82 set earlier this season at the Raleigh Relays. The mark was good for the fastest in the MAAC by far and the 53
rd-fastest time in the NCAA East Region thus far this season.
Senior
Brandon Olden also took part in the 5,000 on the men's side, running a time of 14:09.93.
Siena will continue weekend action at the Rider Invitational on Saturday, April 22.
