PHILADELPHIA, PA – Siena Outdoor Track's
Olivia Lomascolo attended a national meet for the second straight week, and came away with a school record for the second time this week, as Siena began action at the prestigious Penn Relays at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
 After shattering her own best mark in the 5,000 at last week's Virginia Challenge, the Ballston Lake, New York native took down the six-year-old 10,000 school record with a time of 34:10.12 and a third-place finish, breaking the previous record held by
Kelly Pasko. The time also stands at the fourth-fastest time in MAAC history and the 38
th-fastest time in the NCAA East Region this season.
The program also began two-day action by entering runners in the 5,000, with senior
Brandon Olden taking fourth place on the men's side with a time of 13:50.53 to set the program's outdoor track record in the event. Classmate
Aidan Gillooley placed 22
nd with a time of 14:10.88.
On the women's side, senior
Elaine Atanasova finished 59
th in the 5,000 with a time of 17:22.25.
Siena will continue action at The Penn Relays on Friday, April 28 with both teams competing in the distance medley relay.
