JACKSONVILLE, FL – For the second time in as many days, a famed Siena Cross Country & Track runner's career came to an end.

Brandon Olden capped his first national postseason race by running in the men's 5k at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track East First Round at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida.
The Chestertown, New York native placed 29
th with a time of 14:11.78, finishing two spots ahead of his original seeding of 31
st, and ahead of runners from national programs such as Indiana, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Georgia, South Carolina, Liberty, and Connecticut.

Olivia Lomascolo became the second and third runners in modern program history to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor East First Round. The completion of Friday's race marked the end of Siena Cross Country & Track's 2022-23 season, as well as the conclusion of the 2022-23 athletic slate for Siena College Athletics.
