LOUDONVILLE, NY – The season opener for the defending MAAC Men's Tennis Champions Siena will have to wait just a few more hours with inclement weather in the forecast for Friday and Saturday in the Capital Region.
 
The site will also be moved from Sharp Courts at RPI across town to the Tri-City Fitness Tennis Center in Latham so matches can be played indoors.  Start time has also been adjusted from 9 a.m. to its new starting time of 1 p.m. 
 
Saturday's matches have been cancelled. 
 
The Saints reached new heights last season, winning the conference championship for the first time and qualifying for the NCAA Tournament. 
 
This is the fourth time in the past five seasons that the Saints have begun its season by hosting the Siena Invitational.   
 
RPI and LIU will also be competing in the invitational.
