Siena Swimming & Diving competed in its second meet of the season on Saturday, resulting in a 181-114 loss to Rhode Island from Kingston, RI.

Gabrielle Rentosa took home the 100 back as she was the lone participant to clock under one minute (59.93). The freshman was a mere .47 seconds away from entering a top-10 program time.Â

Hope Ivanovich and
Natalie Blume finished one-two in the 1000 free - Ivanovich doing so in 10:56.16, and Blume in 10:57.51. Ivanovich went on to place second in the 100 fly as well (59.80).Â

Shaylea Triller and
Mea Amedio took the top-two spots in the 100 free - Triller winning the event in 54.57, and Amedio following right behind in 54.89. Amedio would come through with a podium finish, however, winning the 200 IM with a time of 2:15.04.
Carsyn Ide,
Alice Scalmani, and
Emme Starzman rounded out a top-four Siena showing in the event.Â

The 400 free relay team of
Kylie Carter,
GayLynn Kirn, Blume, and Triller won with a time of 3:37.19.Â

Siena also had a second place finish in the 200 medley relay as the team of
Olivia Martin,
Kaci Owens, Rentosa, and Ide clocked in at 58.71.
Leslie Dame had a second place finish in the 100 back (1:08.21), as did Kirn in the 500 free (5:18.33).Â

Divers
Sydney Murray and
Claire Donlon competed in the 1m & 3m events; Donlon finishing as the top Saint in the 1m (215.48), and Murray in the 3m (212.78).

The Saints travel on Oct. 18 for a neutral site meet against Canisius and the University of Rochester. Meet time from Erie Community College is set for 11 a.m.
