All fans who donate to Catholic Charities at any of these games can secure a special voucher either to purchase a ticket for just $12.25 to see the men host archrival Iona on Sunday, Jan. 5 at 2 p.m. at MVP Arena, or for a complimentary ticket to a women's regular season home game.
Siena (5-6, 1-1) – which has alternated wins and losses each of its past five games – will look to bounce back to .500 again to head into a 10-day holiday break. Tonight continues a stretch where the Saints play four of five at home following a prolonged stretch where Siena was away for seven straight.
Like Siena against the Patriot League, Holy Cross (6-5) too is seeking to finish 3-0 against MAAC opponents this season. The Crusaders have already beaten Sacred Heart and MAAC Preseason favorite Quinnipiac, winning 70-69 in Hamden Tuesday night. The Saints defeated both American and Bucknell earlier this season to improve to 10-3 vs. Patriot League foes spanning the past five seasons.
Siena and Holy Cross meet for the eighth time in eight seasons in an all-time series which the Saints lead, 13-6. Siena is a perfect 9-0 all-time at home vs. the Crusaders, including a season-opening 73-71 victory last year.
