JERSEY CITY, NJ – Siena Basketball returns to the Tri-State area for the second straight game in search of back-to-back wins when the Saints take on Saint Peter's Friday night at 7 p.m. at Run Baby Run Arena.
Siena (4-20, 3-10) looks to build momentum from Saturday's 68-63 victory at Manhattan heading into the second half of February.
Michael Eley poured in 24 points and grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds for the Saints which held the Jaspers to just 32% shooting including only 5-24 from three.
Saint Peter's (11-11, 7-6) has dropped four straight – albeit against the current top-four teams in the MAAC Standings – following their victory at Siena on Jan. 28.
The programs are set to meet for the 102
nd time in a series which Saint Peter's leads, 54-47. The home team has prevailed in 19 of the past 23 meetings. The Peacocks secured a rare road win in the series last month 63-52 at MVP Arena, ending the game on a 14-1 run to rally past the Saints. Siena was without its top-two scorers in
