Saints Host Mount in Sunday Matinee

Siena Continues Stretch of Five of Seven at MVP Arena

ALBANY, NY – Siena Basketball continues a stretch where it plays five of seven at MVP Arena when the Saints host Mount St. Mary's in the return of the Hall of Fame Game Sunday at 2 p.m.

Sunday features the return of the Hall of Fame Game as the 16-member Siena Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2023 is honored at halftime. This year's class, which was formally inducted in-person Saturday night at The Crowne Plaza Albany – The Desmond Hotel includes former standouts spanning nine different programs including one two-sport star, and is highlighted by seven first-time eligible inductees. Men's Basketball led all programs with four inductees – Doremus Bennerman, Brett Bisping, Edwin Ubiles, and Marquis Wright – while baseball, softball, women's basketball, and women's soccer had a pair of inductees apiece. The Siena Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2023 encompasses five years of honorees from 2019-23.
 
Siena (3-18, 2-8) will both look to bounce back while also avenging an early December loss in the first matchup this season with Mount St. Mary's (8-13, 4-6). The Saints had captured the previous six all-time meetings between the now second-year MAAC foes.
 
Robert Lee and Kelly O'Donnell have the call of the game locally in the Capital Region on My4 Albany as well as on ESPN+, which can be viewed by clicking the corresponding link. "The Voice of the Saints" Emmanuel Berbari and former Saint Andy Grazulis '92 will have the radio call of the game locally in the Capital Region on JAMZ 96.3 FM, with pregame coverage beginning at 1:30 p.m.
