TEMPE, AZ – Both the Siena Women and Men's Tennis programs continued their long-standing success in the classroom as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association ("ITA") recognized each with Division I Team All-Academic Award distinction and 14 student-athletes received high individual honors as Scholar-Athletes on Monday.
On a team level, the Saints women's team held a cumulative GPA of 3.77 among its nine student-athletes on its roster while the Siena men's team posted a cumulative GPA of 3.60 among its eight student-athletes.
Within the sport of tennis, student-athletes continue to exceed expectations in the classroom and on the court. In 2024, 1,059 Division I Men's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 176 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction. Among the women's circuit, 1,573 Division I Women's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 255 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
Among those who also received Scholar-Athlete status with at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale for the 2023-2024 school year were senior

Siena Women's Tennis held the highest cumulative GPA of all Siena athletic programs.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the requirements of holding a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
