Freshman right side Mary Claire Deacy tied her career-best for most kills in a single match twice within the past week with 14 at UAlbany last Tuesday and again at Fairfield this past Saturday while hitting an efficient .392 to garner MAAC Volleyball Co-Rookie of the Week honors, the conference office announced on Tuesday. 

The Chicago, IL native totaled 35 kills with just four attack errors on 79 total attacks in three matches to go along with four total blocks and one dig. 

The product of Mother McAuley High School had a clean sheet at MAAC defending champion Fairfield with 14 kills against no errors.

Deacy currently ranks ninth in the MAAC in hitting percentage at .278 with 134 kills against just 34 errors. 

Siena (8-12, 4-3 MAAC) returns to the courts on Wednesday at 6 p.m. when it plays at Holy Cross (6-16).
