LOUDONVILLE, NY — Siena Men's Soccer (6-5-4, 5-1-3) scored three second-half goals to secure a 3-1 victory over the Marist Red Foxes (7-4-3, 3-4-1) on Wednesday at Hickey Field. This match marked Siena's final home contest of the regular season, providing a fitting conclusion with a commanding win.

With the victory, Siena extended its unbeaten streak over I-87 Rival Marist to five games, including four consecutive wins.

Lucas Almeida scored two goals, including the game-winner, from three shots on goal.
Bennet Glinder made four saves while allowing just one goal in a complete match effort, securing his 21st career win, which ties him for second all-time in program history.
Lee Mara added a goal on his only shot, contributing to the team's offensive success.
Campbell Stalker provided two assists.

The first half began with Marist taking an early lead when Kyle Evans scored in the 2nd minute, assisted by Arion Ulaj. Siena responded with offensive efforts, including a shot by
Martin Piedeleu that went wide in the 6th minute. Glinder kept Siena in the game with multiple saves, including a crucial stop against a shot from Evans in the 9th minute.

Siena continued to press forward, with
Mario Navarro Perez's attempt saved by Marist's goalkeeper, Jamie Lowell, in the 29th minute. Despite Siena's defensive efforts, the Red Foxes maintained their lead throughout the half. The first half ended with Marist ahead, 1-0.

The second half began with a significant momentum shift as Siena found the back of the net in the 56th minute. Mara scored the equalizer with an assist from Stalker, leveling the score at 1-1. The team maintained pressure, and Almeida capitalized on this momentum by scoring in the 67th minute, assisted by
Alejandro Perez Jorda, to take a 2-1 lead.

Siena extended their advantage in the 75th minute when Almeida scored again, this time with assists from
Benjamin Fogarty and Stalker, establishing a 3-1 lead. Despite several attempts from the Red Foxes, including multiple corner kicks and shots, Siena's defense held firm, closing the half with a two-goal advantage.
