LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Basketball Head Coach
Gerry McNamara has announced his second official commitment to the Saints incoming recruiting class. Parrish Edmond, Jr., a 6-7, 190-pound wing who led Putnam Science Academy to a National Prep Championship, will suit up for Siena next season.
Â
"Parrish is an elite-level talent on the wing with explosive athleticism," said McNamara. "He can impact a game in a lot of different ways on both ends. Parrish has a high motor in the way he plays and trains that is going to maximize his incredibly high ceiling as a player. We can't wait to get him on campus!"
Â
A native of Norwalk, Connecticut who initially committed back in July, Edmond was ranked the third best overall recruit in Connecticut, 40
th best overall player in the East Region, and 36
th best shooting guard nationally in the Class of 2026 by ESPN's SportsCenter NEXT. He was also ranked the third best prospect in Connecticut in the New England Recruiting Report 2026 rankings.
Â
Edmond started for last season's National Prep Champion PSA Cardinals while earning New England Basketball League Honorable Mention acclaim. He previously played for Notre Dame Prep.
Â
Edmond starred on the AAU circuit for the Albany City Rocks, and averaged 11.8 points and 5.8 rebounds last summer at Peach Jam.
