BLOOMINGTON, IN – Lamar Wilkerson scored 19 of his 23 points in the first half as five-time National Champion and college basketball blue blood Indiana defeated Siena Basketball 81-60 in both the Saints 2025 and non-conference finale in front of 12,647 at storied Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

Tucker DeVries and Tayton Conerway added 16 points apiece for Indiana (10-3, 1-1), which is receiving four votes – tied for the 37
th highest total nationally – in the latest AP Top-25 Poll, while also checking in 32
nd in the NET. DeVries added 11 rebounds to finish with a double-double for the Hoosiers, which held a 41-29 advantage on the glass.

Francis Folefac scored a career-high 19 points in a spot start for Siena (9-4, 2-0) which finishes with seven non-conference wins, equaling the program's highest total in 27 years since going a perfect 9-0 during the 1998-99 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship season.

Playing the program's first game in the state of Indiana in a dozen years and first matchup against a Big Ten opponent in a decade, the Saints dug themselves an early hole.

Indiana scored the opening 11 points and held Siena without a field goal over the first six minutes to quickly build a commanding early lead. Ranked 26
th nationally in field goal percentage defense (.388) and 45
th in scoring defense (66.6), the Hoosiers limited the Saints to just 24% shooting (7-29) in the first half – including 0-9 from three – and without an assist to take a game-high 26-point advantage at 46-20 into the break.

Siena trimmed the deficit to 15 midway through the final stanza, and outscored Indiana in the second half (40-35), but couldn't overcome the cold start as they dropped their 27
th straight true road game against a high-major (Power 4 + BIG EAST) opponent. The Saints finished just 33% from the field, including only 3-20 from three.

Gavin Doty scored 16 points for Siena which is winless in seven all-time games in the Hoosier State.
Christian Jones added 10 points and
Antonio Chandler contributed nine points and 12 rebounds (six offensive) for the Saints, which matched Indiana in the paint (24-24) and held an 11-5 edge in second chance scoring.

Siena also won the turnover battle by four, forcing Indiana into 13 miscues. The Hoosiers, who entered play 10
th nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.83) and 12
th in assists (19.7), were forced into an 11/13 ratio. Â

Reserve Nick Dorn added 11 points off the bench for Indiana which improved to 301-27 (.918) at home in non-conference action since Assembly Hall opened back in 1971.

The Saints continue their season-long four-game road trip, and return to MAAC action, when they ring in 2026 at Iona on Friday, Jan. 2 at 7 p.m. in New Rochelle, New York.
