ALBANY, NY – Fresh off five straight wins over the final 10 days of November, Siena Basketball looks to keep riding its wave of momentum into December and the start of Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action. The Saints return to the Capital Region to open conference play when they host Niagara at 7 p.m. at MVP Arena.

This weekend's MAAC homestand features the return of the Catholic Charities Christmas Series. Fans who donate to Catholic Charities at either home game this weekend – the Saints next host Canisius Sunday at 2 p.m. – will receive a specially priced ticket at $12.25 to a future Siena Men's Basketball home game this season.
 
Siena (7-2) returns to the Capital Region red-hot to open December. The Saints current five game-win streak is the program's longest in three years, while the 7-2 non-conference start is the best in 27 years.
 
Siena tips off the program's 37^th season of Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference competition this weekend. Predicted to finish second according to the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Saints are an impressive 24-12 (.667) all-time in MAAC openers, including a stellar 27-9 (.750) in MAAC home openers.
 
Projected to finish 12^th according to the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, Niagara (2-5) has dropped four straight. Justin Page paces the Purple Eagles at 12.3 points per game.
 
The longtime Empire State rivals meet for the 116^th time in a series in which Siena holds a 60-55 all-time edge. The Saints have prevailed in 17 of the past 21 games in the Capital Region.  
 
The "Voice of the Saints" Emmanuel Berbari, former Saint Conner Fenlon '12, and Steve Jones have the call of the game on ESPN+, which can be viewed by clicking the corresponding link.
