Siena Men's Tennis was unable to keep the momentum flowing when the Saints visited Brown in Providence on Sunday at the Pizzitola Sports Center as Siena dropped a 4-1 decision to the Bears.
Number one singles player
Oscar Martinez took the lone victory for Siena (1-7) with a straight sets victory against freshman Lukas Phimvongsa.
The Bears (11-5) received victories from spots two through four in the singles lineup as well as a sweep in doubles competition.
The Saints moved to 1-7 on the year.
Next, Siena will return home to host Merrimack in the MAAC opener on Saturday, March 1 at 1:45 p.m. from Tri-City Fitness in Latham.
