Siena Basketball Travels to Rider Saturday Afternoon

Saints in Search of Third Straight Win to Start Off February

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Siena Basketball takes on Rider for the only time during regular season action Saturday at Alumni Gymnasium. Originally scheduled for a 7 p.m. start, the game has been moved up to a 2 p.m. tip due to the inclement weather forecast.

Daryl Fein and Steve Rudenstein have the call of the game on ESPN+, which can be viewed by clicking the corresponding link. The "Voice of the Saints" Emmanuel Berbari and former Saint Conner Fenlon '12 will have the radio call of the game locally in the Capital Region on JAMZ 96.3 FM, with pregame coverage beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Siena (11-12, 6-6) is in search of its third straight win to open February and a shot at moving back to .500 overall, while also seeking to end the weekend with a winning MAAC record. The Saints hit the road for the first of only two times all month long, while looking to snap a four-game losing streak away from home.

Rider (8-15, 4-8) meanwhile has dropped four of five after they had won three straight capped by handing Marist its first conference loss and to date only home defeat all season. The most recent Broncs victory on Jan. 31 vs. Saint Peter's made Kevin Baggett just the fourth coach in MAAC history to win 200 career games at a league institution.

The programs meet for the 61st time in a series controlled by Siena to the tune of a 39-21 advantage. The Saints are 12-6 spanning the previous 18 meetings.
