The 2024-25 season continues for Siena Women's Basketball. The Saints have accepted an invitation to play in the 2025 Women's National Invitation Tournament (NIT), as announced Sunday night. The Saints were one of 11 automatic qualifiers to make the field of 48.
 
While all participants were announced Sunday night, brackets and matchups will not be unveiled until Monday. 
 
Siena has made five previous postseason appearances - three of which were in the WNIT (1999, 2002, 2003) - making it to the second round of the WNIT twice in 1999 and 2003. 
 
The Saints enter the WNIT 17-13 overall, and will make their first postseason since the 2014-15 season. That year, the team won its first three games to reach the WBIT title game against Louisiana before ultimately falling 52-50. 
 
Siena enjoyed a seven-game winning streak this season that lasted throughout the month of February, and earned the No. 3 seed in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament for the second consecutive season.
