LOUDONVILLE, NY - Due to anticipated weather in the Capital Region Saturday, the opening games between Siena Softball and Canisius will now be played Friday, April 25, with game one of the doubleheader starting at 12 p.m. The teams will still complete the three-game series Sunday, with the start time shifting to 1 p.m. 
 
With Senior Day originally scheduled for Saturday, Siena Softball will now honor its graduating class of 2025 before Sunday's series finale at 12:40 p.m. 
 
Siena enters the weekend with a 26-18-1 overall mark, and its 10-7-1 record in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) games has the team sixth in the league standings with six conference games to play. Canisius owns a 21-20 overall record, and is fourth in the MAAC with a 11-6 mark in league action.
