Siena Men's Golf turned in another stellar start to a tournament Monday afternoon with a +4, 288 showing through its opening 18 holes of the Ryan T. Lee Memorial at Wethersfield Country Club in Wethersfield, CT. 
 
The Saints will enter Tuesday's final round in third place in the field of 15, eight strokes behind tournament leader Rhode Island, who shot -4 as a team, behind individual leader Luke Stennett's -7, 64 showing. 
 
Freshman Colton Lusk had his finest round of his young collegiate career, shooting even, 71, for a share of seventh place. The rookie was -1 through his first seven holes before finishing his front nine one-over. He responded by starting his back nine at -2 through hole 14 and shot par on three of his final four to coast in even. 
 
KC Nickel also finished the day even to tie for seventh on the individual leaderboard, doing so with a +1 showing on the front nine and -1 on his back nine. After bogeying the ninth hole, the sophomore birdied the par-four 10th before shooting par on each of his final eight. 
 
Michael McConie and Gavin Crowley finished the afternoon +2, 73, for a share of 19th, with McConie's three birdies tying Lusk for the team high. Not included in team scoring was Austin Giroux at +3 - which came on his back nine after shooting even through his first nine holes. Giroux sits 30th individually in the field of 75. 
 
The Saints conclude the Ryan T. Lee Memorial with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
