Siena Men's Golf will enter Tuesday's third and final round of the UConn Invitational tied for eighth following a +7, 295 team score from GreatHorse in Hampden, MA, Monday. Through 36 holes the Saints are tied with three other teams in the 15-team field at +23 (304-294–599).
KC Nickel and
Michael McConie shot even rounds Monday - Nickel bringing his 36-hole total to +3, 147, and McConie's to +5, 149. Nickel goes into the final round tied for 22nd out of 84, while McConie is deadlocked in 32nd.
Gavin Crowley finished his second round +2, while
Colton Lusk rounded out the team scoring with a middle round of +5 to go into the final round +6.
Austin Giroux carded a 79 to bring his 36-hole total to 158, while
Michael Broeker came in at +2 competing independently.
The Saints conclude the UConn Invitational at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
