Siena Men's Golf concluded the UConn Invitational from GreatHorse in Hampden, MA, Tuesday with the final 18 holes in the 54-hole tournament. The Green and Gold shot +8, 296 during the final round to finish eighth of 15 teams with a 54-hole score of +31, 895 (304-295-296–895).
Thanks to a round of -3, 69 Tuesday,
Michael McConie jumped up 17 spots to finish 15th overall in the field of 84 at +2. The junior shot four-under over his front nine to help pace himself throughout a strong afternoon.
KC Nickel came in +2 Tuesday to finish the tournament in 23rd at +5, while
Gavin Crowley finished the day +4.
Austin Giroux finished team scoring for the day with a round of +5, ending the tournament +19.
Colton Lusk came in at +18 overall for the tournament after shooting +12 Tuesday, while
Michael Broeker shot an even round competing independently.
The Saints return to the course Sunday, Oct. 5, at the Marquette Invitational in Hartford, WI.
