Siena Treks to Defending MAAC Champion Mount St. Mary’s Sunday

Saints Look to Bounce Back to Finish Weekend

EMMITSBURG, MD – Siena Basketball travels to defending Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament Champion Mount St. Mary's for a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. at Knott Arena.

Adam Pohl, Martin Bahar, and Gabby DiPaula have the call of the game on ESPN+, which can be viewed by clicking the corresponding link. The "Voice of the Saints" Emmanuel Berbari and Jackson Heil will have the radio call of the game locally in the Capital Region on JAMZ 96.3 FM, with pregame coverage beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Siena (10-6, 3-2) will look to bounce back from a frustrating setback Friday night vs. MAAC frontrunner Merrimack at MVP Arena. The Saints cut a 19-point deficit down to two with just 25.2 seconds remaining, but fell just short in a 63-59 decision to fall for the fourth time in five games following a 9-2 start.

Mount St. Mary's (6-11, 2-4) has started to heat up with three victories over its past five games – all at home – following a 3-9 start to its title defense. The Mount defeated previous MAAC unbeaten Saint Peter's 70-65 Friday night at Knott Arena.

The now fourth-year MAAC foes have split their first six league meetings, including last season when each side won on its respective home court. Overall, Siena leads the all-time series 7-3.
