The 2026 MAAC Preseason Tennis Polls were unveiled on Monday with the conference coaches votes tabulated, showing that the Siena Men were projected in a tie for fourth place while the Siena women were chosen sixth from the field of nine MAAC teams.

Alex Van Cott enters his second full season at the helm after leading both Saints' teams to the MAAC Semifinals Round in 2025.
The Siena men's team went 19-16 in singles play and 14-18 in doubles action for the fall while taking part in the MAAC Masters Tournament, the ITA New England Regionals and Colgate Invitational.
Fairfield was narrowly chosen first with 73 points and four first-place votes while 2025 champion Quinnipiac was tabbed to finish second with 72 points and shared four first-place votes. The Stags finished 9-9 overall last season and were 5-3 in conference play. Quinnipiac went undefeated at 8-0 in MAAC play season and were 12-12 overall in winning the title.
Last year's runner up Rider was selected to finish in third place with 64 points (one first-place vote) followed by a tie for fourth with Siena and Marist (48 points apiece) to round out the Top-Five.
The Siena women went 26-21 in singles and 14-30 in doubles action in the fall portion of the schedule competing in the Colgate Invitational, the MAAC Masters Tournament, the ITA New England Regionals, and the Thoroughbred Invitational.
Quinnipiac was the top pick in the women's poll, earning a conference-best seven first place votes for a total of 79 points. The Bobcats went 8-0 in conference play and were 12-9 overall.
MAAC championship runner up Fairfield was selected second with 72 points (two first-place votes) followed by Sacred Heart (51 points), Niagara (50 points) and Marist in fifth place with 48 points. Siena had a total of 39 points for a sixth-place projection.

Both the Siena Men and Women's teams open hosting LIU on Saturday, January 24 at 6:15 p.m. at Tri-City Fitness in Latham.
The 2026 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships have reduced its field to just the top four teams this season from each side while keeping it a single-elimination championship taking place on April 25-26 at Mercer County Park Tennis Center in West Windsor, NJ. The 2026 Championships will be the 14th consecutive time the event is held at Mercer County Park Tennis Center dating back to the 2012 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships.
