Jamariah Turner's buzzer-beating three.
The Saints continued to control the paint in the second quarter, but Iona's press and three-point shooting trimmed the margin to 46–38 at halftime.
Siena responded with a strong third quarter, using transition scoring and forced turnovers to rebuild its lead. A late three from
Dallas Pierce sent the Saints into the final period up 67–52.
The Gaels made a push in the fourth, but Siena remained in control. Melious' fast-break three at 2:37 helped seal the 94–80 victory.
Siena returns home Thursday, Jan. 8, to host Rider at the UHY Center for the Saints' annual Kids Day game, with tip-off set for 11 a.m.
