LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Metro Conference has announced its basketball regional television schedule for the 2026-27 season. Siena Men's and Women's Basketball will be featured a total of four times this upcoming season on regional sports networks, with games airing on SNY and NESN.
The Siena men will be featured twice on SNY – the regular season home-opener vs. Princeton on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m., and a road showdown at archrival Iona on Sunday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m.
The women will be spotlighted twice on the road – once on NESN for their Metro Conference opener at Merrimack on Saturday, Dec. 19 at 6 p.m., and once on SNY for a matchup at Manhattan on Monday, Jan. 18 at 6 p.m.
SNY's regional coverage spans New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and northeastern Pennsylvania, while NESN reaches households across the six-state New England region: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
All four games will still be simulcast live nationwide on ESPN+ and the ESPN app – with no digital blackouts – as part of the conference's multiyear agreement with ESPN.
The Metro previously announced five ESPNU Wild Card dates – four men's (Jan. 8, Jan. 29, Feb. 5, and Feb. 11) and women's (Feb. 27) date – where the conference and ESPN will select Metro matchups to be flexed to linear TV on ESPNU. Matchups for wild card broadcasts will be selected 10 days before each scheduled broadcast date.
