For the second straight day, Central Florida produced a seven-run first inning to complete the season-opening series sweep of Siena Baseball 15-0 in seven innings in Orlando.
UCF (3-0) scored in each of their first five innings at bat, highlighted by the seven-run first and punctuated by a five-run fourth. The Knights registered nine hits and worked nine walks over six innings at the plate.
Siena (0-3) managed just two singles and four walks in being shutout for the second time in three games to open the season.
