Siena (19-11, 12-7) enters the final day of the regular season with the possibility of being seeded anywhere from 2-6 in next week's MAAC Championships in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The Saints would clinch the No. 2 seed – and a day of rest between the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds – with a win coupled with a Marist victory vs. Saint Peter's.
Meanwhile Rider (4-24, 3-16) is playing for pride after having long been eliminated from postseason contention. The Broncs are 0-15 on the road this season.
Siena and Rider meet for the 64
th time in a series which the Saints lead 40-23. Siena snapped a three-game losing streak with a 74-65 triumph in the first meeting Jan. 4 behind 19 points from
Gavin Doty. After each of the previous four meetings were played in New Jersey, the programs meet in Albany for the first time in three years where the Saints have won eight of the past nine matchups.
