Siena Men's Tennis freshman Mateja Stefanovic doubled up as being named both the MAAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week on Wednesday.
 
As nominated and voted on by the conference's sports information directors, the Kuagujevac, Serbia native was instrumental in leading the Saints to a 7-0 victory at Niagara this past Saturday.
 
It marked the fifth win in their last six games for the Saints (5-5 overall, 1-0 MAAC).
 
Mateja Stefanovic partnered with sophomore Bruno Loch Varella to beat the Purple Eagles' tandem of Ary Bhawan and Sarosh Rustomjee 6-3 at the doubles #3 position.
 
In singles play, Stefanovic rallied past Damian Janiszewski from the number one singles position 1-6, 6-3, 6-4.
 
The Saints will be back in action this Saturday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Sacred Heart (1-8, 0-1 MAAC).
