Through two rounds of play at the Shark Invitational, Siena Men's Golf finds itself in 10th place at +29 (589) in the 15-team field. The Saints opened with a +7 first round before slipping to +22 in the afternoon session on the par-70 layout, setting up a push in Tuesday's final round.
Gavin Crowley paced Siena over the first 36 holes, carding rounds of 70 (E) and 72 (+1) to sit at +2 overall, good for a tie for 12th individually.
Connor Kiel, competing as an individual, turned in a solid showing at +6 (T26), while the Saints' lineup saw contributions from
Austin Giroux and
KC Nickel, who are both within striking distance heading into the final round at +8 each.
With 18 holes remaining, Siena will look to climb the leaderboard and close the tournament strong as play resumes Tuesday.
