Four student-athletes from the Siena Men's Tennis team were bestowed the honor of being named to the 2025-2026 Academic All-District® Men's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, who recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
In the classroom, junior
Sviatoslav Koliadynskyi achieved a cumulative 3.80 GPA and is majoring in Finance. On the court, the Kharkiv, Ukraine native earned 11 singles victories and added seven more for individual doubles play.
Fellow junior
Matteo Castellazzi achieved a 3.75 GPA while majoring in Management. The Stezzano, Italy native won nine singles matches and six individual doubles matches.
Bruno Loch Varella, a sophomore, had a cumulative 3.51 GPA in the area of Finance.
The Sao Paulo, Brazil native won a team-high 14 singles and 11 individual doubles matches. Loch Varella thrived in the singles No. 4 position with a record of 9-3.
Sophomore
Emilio Zavala Salinas held a 3.59 cumulative GPA also as a Finance major. The native earned 12 singles victories along with seven wins in doubles play.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 3.
Voting for the Academic All-America tennis teams begins Tuesday, May 12, at noon ET and closes Tuesday, May 19, at 11:59 pm ET. All CSC members are eligible to vote on the ballots in their division.
