LOUDONVILLE, NY – For the second straight afternoon, an early five-run frame and pristine pitching propelled Siena Baseball to a three-run victory over Saint Peter's as the Saints prevailed 5-2 in the decisive rubber game at Connors Park.

Matt Thorsen delivered back-to-back two-run hits to highlight a decisive five-run third inning for Siena (18-26, 10-14).
Louis Percival capped a hot series by following with an RBI double to provide the Saints with all the offense they would need.
Gio Conte headlined an outstanding three-pitcher effort, allowing just three hits and two unearned runs over six sensational innings while walking just two and striking out a career-high 10. Conte has now won three straight starts while lowering his ERA to a stellar 2.90, and leads the staff with five victories overall.
Nick Bergamotto continued his hot stretch with three more singles to raise his team-leading batting average to .352.
Siena hosts Iona in its penultimate regular season series – and final home weekend – beginning Friday at 3 p.m. The Saints will enter the crucial series three games back of the sixth and final MAAC Tournament berth with six games remaining – including 2.5 games back of the Gaels – as they look to make a late run at a postseason berth.
