LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Men's Soccer Head Coach
Graciano Brito has announced the addition of midfielder
Jacob Humienny to the program's 2026 roster. The Farmington, CT native joins the Saints following a standout freshman season at Skidmore College, where he became the first player in program history to earn Liberty League Rookie of the Year honors.
"We are very excited to welcome Jacob to our program," said Brito. "Adding players with college experience is always important, and Jacob fits that profile perfectly. He brings maturity, stability, and valuable experience to our defense. As a technical defender, he'll help us continue to grow as a program, and we're thrilled to welcome him to the Siena soccer family."
Humienny appeared in 15 matches for the Thoroughbreds during the 2025 season, earning a starting role in each contest. The midfielder totaled three goals and two assists for eight points across 1,123 minutes of action, finishing third on the team in goals and second in assists. He recorded 32 total shots, including 17 on goal for a .531 shots-on-goal percentage.
The award-winning freshman was named to the All-Liberty League Third Team and earned Liberty League Rookie of the Week honors twice during the season (Sept. 22 and Nov. 3). Humienny made his collegiate debut against Salem State on Aug. 30 before recording his first career assist against Plattsburgh State on Sept. 10. He scored his first collegiate goal at WPI on Sept. 16 and later added goals against Bard and RIT, including the game-winning tally in Skidmore's regular season finale. He also contributed an assist in a match at No. 19 Ithaca.
Prior to his collegiate career, Humienny starred at Avon Old Farms, where he was a two-time Connecticut All-State selection. He was also recognized as an All-Founders and All-NEPSAC honoree during his prep career.
Humienny joins a Siena program coming off a historic season that saw the Saints capture their first-ever conference championship and earn the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance.
