Biography

GENERAL: One of the top relievers in the MAAC the past two years...Could move into the weekend rotation as a senior.

AS A JUNIOR: Appeared in 26 games out of the bullpen...Went 5-4, with eight saves, a 4.17 ERA, and 33 strikeouts in 41 innings pitched...Allowed just two earned runs over his last 12 appearances...Earned an important MAAC win at Iona (4/9), throwing 2 2/3 scoreless innings in a 2-1 victory...Hurled three shutout innings at Fairfield (4/30), allowing just one baserunner in preserving a 3-1 triumph...Shut the door on Canisius in the MAAC Tournament before tossing two scoreless innings against Manhattan later that day (5/28)...A MAAC All-Academic Team selection.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Was a horse out of the bullpen for the Saints, making 21 appearances with only one start...Tallied a 6-1 record with one save, a 4.18 ERA, and 38 strikeouts in 56 innings pitched...Earned his first collegiate win at Stetson (2/20), pitching 3 1/3 scoreless innings while recording four strikeouts...Notched his first collegiate save at South Alabama (3/5), closing the door with three innings of relief...Struck out a career-high five batters in relief stints at both Florida (2/25) and at NYIT (3/20)...Won his only start of the year, allowing just two hits in 5 2/3 innings against Manhattan (5/20)...Did not allow an earned run in his last five appearances of the season.

AS A FRESHMAN: Made 12 appearances including three starts...Went 0-4 with a 10.86 ERA over 29 innings of work...Did not allow a hit or a run in three of his final four appearances. BEFORE SIENA: Earned three letters for coach Ted Klamm as a pitcher and outfielder at Bishop Ludden...Two-time Section III MVP...First Team All-Central New York selection...Sectional Final MVP...Two-time First Team All-League...Member of two World Series teams...Summer between his junior and senior years participated in the Empire State Games for the Central New York team where he we compiled a 4-0 record in 33 innings of work...Volunteer for the 'Make-A-Wish' Foundation...Started non-profit organization, 'Afternoon Delight.'
