COACH ROSSI ON CARROLL:

  • “Tim was bit by the strikeout bug his first year, but showed a lot of potential as a young player. We're looking for him to improve in that area and defensively this season.”

2021 (SENIOR):

  • Made 19 appearances including 12 starts
  • Held a .189 batting average with seven hits, seven runs, one double, two home runs, and five RBI
  • Slugged .378 while holding a .400 on-base percentage
  • Made 46 putouts

2020 (JUNIOR):

  • Made 10 appearances including five starts
  • Held a .227 batting average with five hits, two runs, one double, and two RBI
  • Held a .273 slugging percentage a .320 on-base percentage while drawing six walks
  • Made 20 putouts

2019 (SOPHOMORE):

  • Appeared in 33 games with 18 starts
  • Held a .228 batting average with 18 hits, nine runs, one double, one triple, one home run, and 12 RBI
  • Held a .304 slugging percentage and a .295 on-base percentage
  • Made 111 putouts defensively with a .977 fielding percentage
  • Registered six multi-hit games

2018 (FRESHMAN):

  • Appeared in 24 games, making 11 starts
  • Scored three runs on six hits, including a double and four RBI
  • Held a .150 batting average and a .239 on-base percentage
  • Recorded his first career extra-base hit and scored his first career run at Gardner-Webb on February 23

  • 2016 Colonial Council First Team All-Star hit .396 with 40 RBI over 45 games
  • Named the Colonial Council's 2017 Top Scholar Athlete Award winner in basketball
