COACH ROSSI ON NOLAN:

• “John struggled with command last year. He had another good fall, and is another who needs to have his positive fall translate over to the spring to receive quality innings again. Being a senior, the staff again hopes he makes the adjustment quickly.”

• Made 10 appearances out of the bullpen
• Held a 4.76 ERA with a 1-1 record and two saves in 11.1 innings
• Recorded 12 strikeouts and six walks

• Made 11 appearances, including 10 starts on the mound
• Recorded 30 strikeouts and issued 30 walks in 39.1 innings
• Held an 0-6 record and a 7.55 ERA
• Struck out a career-high seven batters in six innings at Iona on March 26

2017 (SOPHOMORE):

• Appeared in eight games, making five starts
• Surrendered just two hits and struck out a season-high six to earn first collegiate win at Holy Cross (Apr. 19)

• Appeared in 12 games, making nine mid-week starts
• Tied season-high with three strikeouts on three separate occasions

• Named First Team All-State and was a two-time All-Conference pitcher at Windsor
• Selected to Hartford Courant Fabulous 15 Team
• Named Perfect Game All-Northeast Honorable Mention, Team Co-MVP, two-time Co-Pitcher of the Year, Offensive MVP, and two-time captain
• Was also a highly decorated All-State quarterback, who became the first signal caller to win two state championships in school history

• Son of John & Sue Nolan
• Has two sisters - Ashley & Melissa
• Majoring in economics, with plans to play professional baseball or work in the front office of a professional sports team
• Chose Siena because of its proximity to home, academics and non-conference baseball schedule
