The Siena College men's basketball team is in for the experience of a lifetime. On Sunday, August 17, the Saints will depart for Mexico City, Mexico, the world's third largest city, beginning a 10-day expedition that will wind them through the ruins of ancient civilizations to the modern day paradise of the Mayan Riviera. The journey, featuring five games against international competition, concludes with a six-day stay in Cancun.
Saints Day-By-Day In Mexico

Sunday, August 17:
The Saints board a bus for JFK Airport at 4:30 a.m., where they catch a direct flight to Mexico City. After the team checks in to the hotel, they will convene for dinner.
Monday, August 18:
The team will tour the Mexican Capital during the day before playing their first game against Poly Rob at 8 p.m.
Tuesday, August 19:
A half-day tour of the nearby Mayan Ruins is in store on the third day of the trip, as is the Saints? second game against national University at 8 p.m.
Wednesday, August 20:
The Saints enjoy their first break from competition and a tour of ancient Pyramids. After returning to Mexico City, the travel party will disperse for dinner.
Thursday, August 21:
The team boards an 11:45 a.m. flight for Cancun where they will spend the final six days of their trip.
Friday, August 22:
The Saints enjoy fun in the sun before returning to the hardwood for an 8:30 game against the University of LaSalle (Mexico).
Saturday, August 23:
A trip to Isla Mujeres is in store for the travel party, where the team will play Cahumeros de Quintana Roo at 8 p.m.
Sunday, August 24:
The final day of competition provides perhaps the biggest challenge of the 10 days, as Siena takes on the Belize National Team at 6 p.m.
Monday, August 25 - Tuesday, August 26:
With the games behind them, the team enjoys two days of bonding and beach time before returning to the Capital District.
Wednesday, August 27:
The team boards a 1:10 p.m. flight from Cancun to Atlanta and ultimately JFK where they board the bus back home.
