Saints in the Pros

Over the past 80+ years, Siena Men's Basketball has continued a tradition of preparing student athletes for success on and off the court, and is proud of those who were given the opportunity to play basketball professionally. Siena has developed 62 players who have gone on to play professionally, including 46 who graduated from Siena. Nine former Saints have been drafted to play professionally, with another three drafted into professional baseball.

Siena first sent a player to the NBA on March 21, 2021, when program great Edwin Ubiles '18 (2006-10) became the first Saint to play in an NBA regular season contest, doing so for the Washington Wizards. Former Saints Tommy Mitchell '05, (Golden State Warriors), Kenny Hasbrouck '09, HOF '14 (Miami Heat), O.D. Anosike '13 (Denver Nuggets & Boston Celtics) each received NBA Summer League invitations during their professional careers.
