Casey Garcia

Casey Garcia joined the Siena Baseball program as an assistant coach in November 2019. The Miramar, Florida native assists in all aspects of the program, and primarily aids in the development of the team’s defense and hitting.

“Coach Garcia has been tremendously successful as a youth coach in Broward County,” said head coach Tony Rossi upon Garcia's hiring. “His experience coaching at the high school level will be a valuable asset in our recruiting in Florida. He is well-versed in all areas of the game, which will be a great resource for our student athletes. We’re extremely excited to have him join our program.”

Garcia has spent the previous four years coaching at the high school level in Florida. Last season, he helped guide the Western Wildcats to a new program single-season record for wins. Garcia, who began his coaching career at the age of 19, assisted his 2016 squad to a 24-5 record and No. 3 ranking in Florida.

Garcia spent five seasons coaching with Elite Squad Baseball, a well-respected, South Florida based travel baseball organization. He helped lead his teams to six tournament championships, highlighted by capturing the 2018 Perfect Game BCS National Championship. The 2018 Elite Squad 17U American, with which Garcia was an assistant coach, finished the summer ranked fourth nationally by Perfect Game. Over his five years coaching and assisting in the Elite Squad organizations, Garcia’s teams have posted a combined record of 100-36.

A 2019 graduate of Florida International University with his bachelor’s in accounting, Garcia is currently pursuing his masters in accounting at Florida Atlantic University. Garcia pitched one season collegiately at Division III SUNY Canton, and in high school posted a 4-1 record with a 1.15 ERA his sophomore year at Somerset Academy to earn All-County Honorable Mention honors.
